The Service

The company has factories in Johannesburg, Cape Town and a franchised facility in Zimbabwe. These factories are set up to produce short-run non-current products on a rapid response basis to meet need for nation-wide replacement radiators and cooling system components.

Distribution takes place through six warehouses and four depots located on the major centre throughout the region. These warehouses each carry a complete inventory of radiators and radiator parts which, combined with an efficient delivery system, guarantee an excellent service to the radiator repair trade.

These warehouses feed supplied to a network of more than 125 franchised radiator repair shops trading under the Silverton Radiators banner. These repair shops have fully equipped workshops and are manned by trained personnel enabling them to provide an all-round cooling system service which includes repairs, refurbishment and replacement of automotive radiators and related components.

There is no cooling system service that is more comprehensive than that offered by the unique Silverton Franchise network.

The Backup

As a member of the Behr Group, Silverton Radiators is backed by unsurpassed research and development and technical facilities which include state-of-the-art wind tunnels which can simulate the most extreme driving and climate conditions.

In addition to this affiliation to the Behr Group, the company has supply agreements which several other leading international radiator manufactures enabling it tot offer the widest range of radiators and cooling system parts on the market.

Comprehensive catalogues, operating and technical manuals are provided to the Franchise network as well as an on-going technical, business and marketing support by head office personnel.

This backup enables Silverton Radiators to offer a unique guarantee, which is honoured by over 125 outlets through South Africa, on all its products and services.
