Coolants

Engine coolants have substituted using just pure water in an engines cooling system. Coolants are used as an anti-freeze precaution in many vehicles situated in the colder regions around the world, however this is not the sole purpose of the cooling agent. Engine coolants also assist with ensuring a perfectly cooled engine system, coolants offer a higher boiling point than the conventional use of pure water in the cooling system.
