Sheet Metal

Sheet metal is metal that has been formed into flat pieces via an industrial process. In this form, the metal can be cut, bent and formed into a variety of shapes and sizes. Sheet metal has multiple uses and is used in many objects that we come into contact with on a daily basis. Sheet metal can be purchased in either flat pieces or coiled strips. The compound of sheet metal varies and can be made up from aluminium, copper, brass, steel and titanium to name a few. The most obvious of vehicle parts that can be made up from sheet metal would be parts such as your surge tanks, after market fuel cells and also in the general fabrication of vehicles.
